Belmont House

Your Hosts

A man and woman standing together in a garden, posing near an arched metal gate with a yellow lantern on top, surrounded by plants and flowers, with houses and hills in the background during sunset.

Simon and Kazuko look forward to welcoming you to Belmont House and The Old Cider House. After many years in Bedfordshire, where they ran a successful education business, they chose to make Hay on Wye their home. For Kazuko, who is originally from Japan, opening a guest house is a return to her family roots. Many of the dishes she prepares are inspired by recipes passed down from her mother, who ran a guest house in Japan.

Both Belmont House and The Old Cider House have been renovated by Simon and Kazuko themselves, each space reflecting their care, creativity and personal style. They hope you feel completely at home during your stay.
